Book of Abstracts

The Book of Abstracts will be completed and made available for download shortly before the MaTeDaS 2027 Conference.

It will include the accepted abstracts submitted by conference participants, together with the names of the authors and the form of presentation, where applicable. The document will be published in electronic form and will serve as an overview of the scientific contributions presented at the conference.

Abstracts and Publications

Important and original scientific works will be presented at the MaTeDaS 2027 Conference, mainly related to the following areas of interest:

  • Security and defense technologies;
  • Materials and technologies for defense and security applications;
  • Materials for aerospace and space applications;
  • Technologies of welding and joining of materials;
  • Computer-aided technologies;
  • Additive manufacturing technologies;
  • Advanced materials and technologies;
  • Materials and technologies in special engineering;
  • Experimental and theoretical methods for the investigation of microstructures;
  • Surface layers and coatings;
  • New approaches to modelling and simulation;
  • Smart and multifunctional materials;
  • Biocompatible materials.

The deadline for online abstract submission is 31 August 2027. The abstract, with a maximum length of one A4 page, will serve as a basis for evaluation by the Conference Scientific Committee. The abstract must be written in English only.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts, which will be available in electronic form. After the conference, selected full research papers will be recommended for submission to a foreign peer-reviewed journal registered in the Scopus database.

After a positive initial evaluation, the author will participate in the standard peer-review process of the selected journal. The review process and final decision on publication are subject to the internal rules and standards of the journal. The Conference Scientific Committee does not intervene in the journal’s review process.

The costs associated with the publication of selected articles in the recommended journal will be covered by the organizer of the MaTeDaS 2027 Conference.
