Important and original scientific works will be presented at the Conference, mainly related to the following areas of interest:

• Security and defense technologies;
• Technologies of welding and joining materials;
• Computer aided technology;
• Additive technologies;
• Advanced materials and technologies;
• Materials and technologies in special engineering;
• Experimental and theoretical methods of investigating microstructures;
• Layers and coatings;
• New approaches to modeling and simulation;
• Biocompatible materials.

The deadline for online submission of abstracts is 13.09.2024 (max. 1 page of A4 format) serves as a basis for the Conference Scientific Committee. The abstract must be written in the English language only. All abstracts will be published in the form of Conference proceedings, which will be available in an electronic version. Subsequently, after the end of the conference, the research papers will be sent to the selected periodical registered in the Scopus database. After a positive initial evaluation, the author participates in the review process. After the article is approved, the Conference organizer will pay the fee for publishing the article. All details related to the review process are subject to the internal standards of the periodical and the scientific committee does not intervene in these review processes.

The costs associated with the publication of selected articles in the recommended periodical are covered by the organizer of the MaTeDaS 2024 Conference.
